Frank Swinnerton letters, 1919-1923.

The collection consists of five letters, including: to Dear Aukland, 7 Dec. 1919, thanking him for praise of one of his books, and stating that he received encouragement from [H.G.] Wells and [Arnold] Bennett; four letters to James B. Pond, 20 March 1920, about the possibility of lecturing in America that summer; 23 Dec. 1921, confirming that he has no plans to visit America in the coming year, but is considering the option; 30 May 1923, relating that he has resolved to not lecture when he visits America; and 16 Oct. 1923, explaining that he has contracted with another agent for a lecture tour of America.
